Split Rock Lighthouse
7A-H1072

Another small element of the Large Letter postcard is the Split Rock Lighthouse. There are numerous linen postcards, but this is the one that lines up the exact angle and colors. This is card 7A-H1072, created in 1937.

Text on the back of the card:
"Split Rock is so named because two cliffs a quarter of a mile apart, when viewed from the lake, appear as one, split in twain. Split Rock Lighthouse, on the brink of a sheer cliff 200 feet above the lake, is open to visitors daily except Sunday."
